Freshers' Fairs -- Progress

UPDATE 30 SEP 11

King’s College went well last week, especially on Friday. Today we will have teams at ULU and at Herts, so come and find us if you wish to find out about joining ULAS.

We had a good day at Brunel on Tuesday this week; today and tomorrow will be the turn of King’s College, with the Freshers’ Fair at the Barbican, Exhibition Hall 2.

Come and see us and find out more about ULAS; look for a student in a green flying suit, or perhaps a black polo shirt with the crest on the right breast.

If you want to join you will have to discuss it with a member of staff and 3 of us will be at the Barbican today, 2 tomorrow. If you are given an application form you can return it to one of us today or tomorrow at the KCL Fair, but if not it must be with us by 5 October, either in person at a Fair or by post to the Adjutant at our Town HQ (see the
Contact page).

Freshers' Fairs — what to expect

You will need to speak to a member of the Squadron staff to obtain an application. This means that we can chat to you and discuss whether the Squadron is for you. It’s a busy sort of team to join, and you must have time to run the Squadron, events, activities and routine chores/

We expect to come second only to your university course, so consider your timetable carefully.

But once you sorted it out, the benefits of membership are immense; the University of London offers great opportunities for flying, sports and adventure.
